Language File Editor

The Language File Editor is a small program that allows to edit language files used by most of my softwares. With it anyone will be able to translate any of my software into any language. A language file is divided in several sections, each containing a part of the program it is used with.

Using it is very easy, simply open a language file and translate all the text it contains, then save it under another file name and you will be able to select your new language in the software. You may notice some special formating for some of the text (ex : &File), those characters are needed to mark wich letter can be used has a keyboard shortcuts to access this menu item, so do not omit them if you want your language file to be fully functionnal.

If you translate any software in another language, please send me the translated file and I will list it on my site with your name and address.

Required operating system : Windows 98,NT,ME,2000,XP,2003.
Necessary disk space : 546 Kb

Note : This editor only support new generation language files, it cannot edit old files. You will not be able to translate programs that haven't been updated to the new language file format.
